2FA settings

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an enhanced protection of your account. It is necessary to make sure that the action is performed by you, because only the owner of the account can enter verification codes.

 

To activate 2FA in Any.Money, you can:

- add email;

- add a Google Authenticator account;

- add a Telegram account.

 

Setting up 2FA via email.

1. In your personal account, select “Profile” → “Profile Settings” in the menu on the left.

 

2. Make sure that in the "Accounts" → "Email" section, your e-mail address, which will be used for setting up 2FA, is added.

 

3. Click “Two-factor authentication” → “Account” → “Email”. Select the settings for which you need to enable 2FA via email: authorization, settings change, money transaction. This is necessary in order to choose for which actions 2FA will be applied. Click "Save". 

 

2FA via e-mail is activated!

 

Setting up 2FA using Google Authenticator.

1. Install the Google Authenticator app on your phone:

- download on Android;

- download on IOS (available for iPhone and iPad).

 

2. Select "Profile" → "Profile settings" in the menu on the left.

 

3. Add a Google Authenticator account in the "Accounts" → "Google Authenticator" section: enter the name of the account (you choose the name yourself), after which a new account will be created.

 

4. Go to Google Authenticator on your smartphone and tap on ➕ → Enter the setup key. Enter your account name and 16-digit secret key (generated by Any.Money).

 

Or you can scan the QR code generated for you by Any.Money.

 

5. After the account has been successfully created, copy the 6-digit code generated by the application.

 

Please note that the 6-digit code has a short validity period (20-30 seconds) and remains completely in the program.

 

6. Return to the Any.Money personal account → “Profile” → “Profile settings” → “Two-factor authentication” → “Accounts”.

 

7. Select "Google authentication", enter a 6-digit code and select the settings for 2FA (authorization, settings change, money transaction).

 

Click “Save”. 2FA via Google Authenticator is activated!

 

Setting up 2FA using Telegram.

1. Select “Profile” → “Profile Settings” in the menu on the left.

 

2. Add your account by specifying your Telegram username in the "Accounts" → "Telegram" section.

 

3. Click “Two-factor Authentication” → “Account” → “Telegram”. Select settings for 2FA: authorization, settings change, money transaction. Click "Save".

 

2FA via Telegram is activated!
